A Smarter Way Forward For Nebraska’s Students
I’m Michaela Conway, a school board member, public school graduate, and mom of five. I’m running for the Nebraska State Board of Education to strengthen literacy, support teachers and students, and bring transparency back to decision-making.
Who I Represent
I am running to represent the students, families, educators, and communities of District 5 on the Nebraska State Board of Education.
District 5 is made up of diverse towns, rural communities, and neighborhoods, each with its own strengths and challenges. While our communities may look different, we share the same goal: strong schools that prepare our children for their future.
I will represent students who deserve high expectations, safe classrooms, and the opportunity to succeed.
I will represent parents who want transparency, strong academics, and leadership that listens.
I will represent teachers who work tirelessly for our kids and deserve support, respect, and a voice in policy decisions.
I will represent communities who expect responsible governance and decisions rooted in what works.
Public education belongs to the public. I am not running to serve a political agenda or special interests. I am running to serve the people of District 5 and to bring their voices into every conversation at the state level.
Every decision I make will be guided by one simple question: How does this impact students?
